Growth brings opportunity. But at Lewis Services, growth also brings responsibility.
As Lewis Services continuously expands into new regions and services, one principle remains constant: the same mindset that built Lewis must guide where it goes next. (Para leer este artículo en español, haga clic aquí.)
Growing with Purpose. Protecting our Culture.
How Lewis leaders are carrying the Job Done Right mindset into new opportunities.
That’s something Division Manager Josh Roark sees firsthand every day in his region in Florida.
“The growth is very exciting,” Roark explains. “But we’re only successful if we keep the same standards and the same values that got us here.” For Roark, who joined Lewis less than a year ago, the culture was one of the first things he noticed.
“It didn’t take long to see how much pride people take in their work here,” he says. “People care about the job being done right, about safety, and about taking care of each other.” That mindset is even more important as Lewis continues to grow. New opportunities bring new crews, new challenges, and new responsibilities. But according to Roark, the foundation stays the same. “The goal isn’t just to grow,” he says. “It’s to grow the right way.”
You’re not just doing a job for today—you’re helping build something for the future.
At Lewis, that means protecting the culture that has made the company successful for decades. It also means embracing the responsibility that comes with being an employee-owner. “When you’re part of an employee-owned company, you see things a little differently,” Roark explains. “You’re not just doing a job for today—you’re helping build something for the future.”
That ownership mindset shapes how teams approach everything from safety and equipment care to teamwork and reliability in the field. And as Lewis continues to grow, leaders like Roark believe that mindset will become even more important. For Roark, the key isn’t just expanding into new areas, it’s making sure the same culture that built Lewis continues to guide every job, every crew, and every decision.
“Growth is a great driver,” he says. “But it only works if we keep doing things the Lewis way.”
Because at the end of the day, expansion isn’t just about entering new markets. It’s about carrying forward the same values that built the company in the first place. Same values. New opportunities.

People care about the job being done right.
