Our Agility Has Fueled Our Growth

Founded in 1938, Lewis has emerged as one of North America’s largest vegetation management companies. Our customers rely on us to provide reliable, cost-effective vegetation management services without compromising safety and quality – to get the Job Done Right®. No two projects are the same, and our ability to remain agile to an infinite number of circumstances has kept our customers returning decade after decade.

Now, as a 100% employee-owned company with a majority-minority workforce of more than 4,000 team members and the only female CEO of a leading vegetation management company, Lewis supports a customer base that serves over half the U.S. population. As owners of the company, our employees have a vested interest in the success of our customers, keeping everyone - your lineworkers, the public, and our team members - safe.

Throughout its history, Lewis has served investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and municipal electric utilities providing a wide range of vegetation management services including transmission and distribution utility line clearance, rights-of-way maintenance, and emergency storm response and restoration. As our services have expanded into residential, commercial, and specialized services, so has our company.

Whether working around-the-clock in a storm or reliably managing the ongoing line clearance needs of our customers, you can count on Lewis to get the job done right.
